Arguably, OKLAHOMA CENTER FOR NONPROFITS is the best of its kind in all 50 US states. They provide mission-critical services to more than 2,000 nonprofits ranging in sectors from Youth Services to Homelessness to Disease Control to Arts and Humanities (courtesy photo).

Congrats to forward-thinking leaders like Marnie Taylor (President and CEO) and the institution's impressive Board of Directors for their vision to expand, extend and amplify the important services of OKCNP.

When renovation work is complete on the 31,000-square-foot former Red Cross building at Sixth Street and Lincoln Boulevard in Oklahoma City, the new headquarters for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits will be a hub for advocacy, training, consulting and networking.

Marnie and her Board of Directors hired Clemons-Associates to provide wrap-around services with regard to the $10.5M campaign. Deliverables include pre-campaign tools (Planning Tool, Gift Pyramid, Gift Table, Top Prospective Donor templates, coaching/consultation for staff and volunteers) as well as campaign collateral/materials including a fly-thru video, dedicated campaign website, solicitation folders, branded Powerpoint presentation, thank you cards, event invitation, house party best-practice guides and more.

To date, the organization has raised $9,000,000!

Facility Outputs:

More than 60% of the newly-developed space will be used by thousands of charitable organizations in the state. Key facilities include new event space, a large conference room, three spacious training rooms, 16 community workstations and more. The facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology as well to allow for videoconferencing, remote training, webinars and other benefits.

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce stated there are more than 5,000 active nonprofits in the state representing 7% of the workforce and a combined $16.5 billion in annual revenues.

“The community that will be created in this building will help carry our sector into the future,” said Marnie Taylor, the OKCNP’s president and CEO. “Nonprofits will have a place to come for whatever they need – a question answered, a training, a desk to use while they’re in Oklahoma City, a space to host a fundraiser.”
